Get Informed
Do you accept insurance?
No, we are a cashed based medical practice. This means we do not participate with any commercial insurance companies. We serve individuals who cannot get medications covered through their insurance. We offer affordability by eliminating the time and cost it takes to bill third parties. We do provide documentation/receipts so that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
What method of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, debit, and all major credit cards.
Can I use my flexible spending/HSA?
YES! And we will provide necessary documentation for you to do so.
How does it work and what is the cost?
Visit our PROGRAM PRICING PLAN page for more information
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of service for initial consultation. At that time if you and your provider feel the program is right for you, you will order and pay for your first 4 weeks of medication. Additional medication is paid every 4 weeks. This way it will be ready and waiting for you at your next visit. Payment for additional provider visits is due at the time of service. We do not bill-this is another way we keep costs low!
How do you provide these medications for less than at a traditional pharmacy?
By utilizing an compounding pharmacies, we are able to provide the same medication (semaglutide base or tirzepatide base) for 1/3 of the cost. We eliminate the fancy patented “pen” and increase the value by adding beneficial vitamins. This also allows for more patient specific dosing-you aren’t limited to doses available at traditional pharmacies.
Am I getting real medication, or some knock off?
Our reputation is on the line. Patient safety is our number one priority. We ONLY purchase from reputable pharmacies. We do not purchase medications outside of the United States. We do not use any "salt" or "acetate" versions. We want our patients to experience excellent results!
Do I have to come into the office for my injections?
We take pride in following processes which keep our patients safe. This includes performing first time injections on site to ensure you receive the proper dosage in a safe manner and tolerate the medication. Life threatening side effects are a risk of any medication and most often occur within the first few minutes of dosing. We want to be sure if, in the rare circumstance a patient were to experience an allergic reaction, medical professionals are on site to intervene. Your first dose can be given at the time of your initial consultation. If you prefer, you may take additional doses home with you that day. We offer the option to pick up your monthly doses in office for self administration at home. Some patients choose to continue to receive injections in office once weekly, there is no additional cost for injection visits.
How long does an injection visit take?
Not long at all! Depending on if you have any questions, concerns or need for follow up, an injection visit should take about 5-10 minutes. We also offer evening and weekend appointments so that you can easily work it into your schedule. You will receive your injection and a very brief assessment including a check of your vital signs, review of any concerns and a weight. This is when we will also discuss your progress and tolerance, and determine if a dosage increase or decrease is warranted.
How much do injection visits cost?
NOTHING! These are free and including in the cost of the medication. See more on our PROGRAM PRICING page.
Am I tied into a contract?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. Medications are purchased every 4 weeks. You are never obligated to continue with the program, but we do require patients notify the office if/when they decide not to continue. Also, because our medications are provided through licensed pharmacies and are dispensed to be patient specific (dosage based on your individual needs) medication that is ordered can not be refunded and must be administered prior to the expiration date.
What if I experience side effects?
We provide ongoing provider oversight for free. You can contact your provider by phone, email, or text at anytime to discuss the availability of treatments to decrease or eliminate any adverse side effects.
What if I am happy with my progress and don’t want to increase my dose?
That is no problem! We are thrilled when patients receive desired results at lower dosages. There is no cost increase if there is no dosage increase!
Will I need any labwork or testing?
Most likely no. This will be discussed at your initial consultation. An extensive health history will be obtained and if there is any indication for labwork or testing prior to starting the medication, we will provide you with necessary scripts/instructions for completing. These would be performed at a local laboratory or other site and most likely be covered by your insurance. The results would then be sent to our office for review, at which time we will discuss with you if the program would be safe.
What if during my consultation I find out that semaglutide/tirzepatide aren’t safe for me?
If semaglutide or tirzepatide is not for you because of your health history or other concern, we will discuss additional weight loss treatments available that may be appropriate. There are many treatments available on the market today. Some alternative choices include Contrave, Orlistat, Topamax, or Metformin.
